********************************************************************

It had rained overnight 🌧 (surprise, surprise), so I had to tackle slippery stones to get out of the car park but made it safely.

Dark clouds above and ahead.

and then the downpour. 🌧

Rain on and off. A quick stop at the Lomondgate Stag for some pictures and to change my gloves and zip up my vents.

Wow Loch Lomond what can I say absolutely spectacular even in the rain.

All along Loch Lomond there are parking spots which is great but why oh why Scotland would you put the majority of them amongst the bushes so you can't stop and take beautiful photos.

I do wish my visor would stop fogging up. I thought the pinlock was supposed to stop it. The fog is between the pinlock and visor so takes a really long time to clear once I open the visor, which sucks when it's raining. Just another thing I hate about this helmet.

Stopped for a Coffee break @ The Green Welly, then onto Oban.

Scotland is stunning in the sunshine. Thanks Oban for turning it on. Here is hoping for lots more. 🤞🙏

Had an awesome feed of shellfish here, prawns, scallops, oysters absolutely delicious.

George is also appreciating the sunshine so he has the chance to dry out.

Onboard the ferry for my adventure to the Outer Hebrides.

The Seagulls are hugemungeous over here.

Wow Isle of Barra is beautiful and I've only just seen a little bit so far. Next 2 photos are from where I am having to sit to get phone reception.

My room at the Craigard Hotel has views of the church & hills.

Rattie wanted to make an appearance as well and I'm glad he did cause my ears are cold.

Getting overcast and quiet cool. Apparently they have had lovely weather this last week, but I'm here now so that's probably about to change.

Maybe I need to pop into the church and have a word to the big guy. 🙏😁🌞

I went to the bar and had a pint and got talking to a gentleman there named Roddy, he is originally from Barra but lives in England. After 3 days in Scotland I finally had my first Whisky and my first Tahdhu, thanks Roddy, and it was very nice.
