Lovely riding weather today, overcast so no sun to blind me, for my ride down to Stratford-Upon-Avon.
It took me a while to find the motorbike parking even though I had it in my GPS, but got there in the end.
Lunchtime. I have been eating way to many carbs since I got over here and my body is starting to complain. So I decided a steak was in order, I had only had one steak since I have been here (people know how much I love my steak) lucky there is an awesome Miller & Carter Steakhouse here.
Prawn & Lobster cocktail to start then a fillet steak cooked blue with a beef dripping sauce, all I have to say is OMG. 😁🥩
Anne Hathaways Cottage
As I was leaving Stratford-Upon-Avon, I was approaching a roundabout and my GPS decided to freeze, it was still playing music but the screen had frozen and it wasn't giving directions.
I had no idea where I was going, I had just past a petrol station so I turned around and pulled in (I should have filled up, but I didn't) I ended up having to do a battery put to get it going again.
Not long ago I upgraded my GPS from a Garmin Zumo 590 to the 595, the 595 has frozen up on me a few times on this trip and I have so far had to do 3 battery pulls to get it going. In the approx. 5 years I had the 590 I don't think I ever had to do a battery pull.

Then onto the centre of England.
So with about 50km to go I though I had better start looking for a petrol station. I asked the GPS to find the nearest petrol but it was saying there was nothing near. I ended up back at the hotel and then found I had to go another 4km down the road. I have never run out of fuel with Gráinne, but I have on previous bikes (which I have had to push to a petrol station), I have never even had the fuel light come on before. I probably could have gone another 50km after the light came on but I always get worried when I am low on fuel, I don't like the thought of trying to push Gráinne any sort of distance. And this is why I should have filled up back at Stratford-Upon-Avon.
